8vo., First Edition, with photographs in the text; black cloth, gilt back, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. Survival among the Jedburgh teams was relatively scarce; personal accounts even scarcer, particularly from British members who (unlike their Allied counterparts) were proscribed from publication until fairly recently. The fact that this author served in both major theatres - France and Burma - makes this a rare and valuable account.
