Name/date to half-title page. No other marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, light foxing to page edges and minor bumping lower rear edge and lower corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or torn with dusty/lightly foxed rear and a little rubbing to spine ends and corners. 199pp. Makalu without oxygen and capturing an Abominable Snowman were the aims of the Expedition led by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1960. The author was a member of this Expedition and almost lost his life. This account tells his story. First UK Edition.
