Original printed wrappers (laminated). = Rare and most probably the only large plant-name index in Latin, Portugese and local languages including detailed description of each plant, and - unusual for a dictionary - many excellent illustrations, including numerous trees. Published in the series, Agronomia Angola. Provenance: the copy of the French botanist Philippe Woltz (b. 1940) from Marseille, with his bookplate and stamp on the front wrapper and half-title, and, loosely inserted, a single leaf of the Faculté des Sciences de Marseille - Laboratoire de Botanique (where Woltz worked) with notes relating to the Angolan flora. Not in Stafleu and Cowan.
