Description
Pretoria, Transvaal Museum, 1949. 8vo. 13 (8; 5) pp., one plate with explanatory text leaf, three text figures. Later wrappers. = Rare paper by the South African herpetologist Vivian Frederick Maynard Fitzsimons, (1905-1975) who was the director of the Transvaal Museum. The paper with new subspecies of lizard. The plate shows a snake, Chlorophis, and a frog, Arthroleptella. Published in the museum's Annale or Annals, volume 21. A very good, clean copy.
