Description
No marks or inscriptions to contents. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, with minor indent to rear and no bumping to corners. Slight rubbing to hinge of front end paper and label removal to rear end paper. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked with small nick to edges and slight creasing to spine ends. 140pp. A scarce book in dust jacket. The painting 'Old Road' by LS Lowry owed much to the life story in this work, as told to him in the 1950s by Ruth Johnson, whose recollections these are.
