No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked blue cloth boards, slight foxing to top of page edges, attached blue ribbon bookmark and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket price clipped but not marked or torn or creased with slightly sunned spine and minor rubbing/nicks to upper and lower edges. 488pp. A biography of Cromwell, written at a time when enough was being learned about the man for a just and balanced judgement - 1903.
