Brown endpapers. = A detailed description of the early development stages of an Atlantic crinoid, with some comments on its synonymy. Written by the later scientific leader of the famous "Challenger" expedition, Charles Wyville Thomson (1830-1882). Published in the Society's Philosophical Transactions - communicated by Thomas Henry Huxley. Spine ends abraded. Internally a very good, clean copy.
