The author, the English phycisian, vertebrate zoologist and comparative anatomist William Kitchen Parker (1823-1890) wrote several papers on avian, reptile, and amphibian skulls. Published in the Society's Transactions, Second Series, Zoology, Vol. II. Last text leaf and plates spotted, otherwise very good, clean and unmarked. Rare.
