London, The Zoological Society of London, 1882. Large 4to (32.2 x 25.5 cm). 48 pp. [numbered 263-310], and ten fine lithographed plates (many partly tinted). Original printed wrappers. = Scarce work on crodile osteology and ontogeny. One of the plates showing the development of the crocodile foetus. Published in the Society's Transactions volume 11(9). The wrappers somewhat frayed, soiled and loose, but the pages themselves mostly in very good condition.
