Mainly clean very tight pages with dull unmarked brown cloth boards, rubbing to spine ends and very tiny bump to upper rear corner. Atractive marbled end papers. 182pp. Frederick Yates was British Chess Champion in 1913, 1914, 1921, 1926, 1928 and 1931. This is a posthumous work arranged and completed by W Winter and edited by W H Watts. First British Edition. A scarce book.
