8vo., First Edition, with 10 plates (one double-page) on 8, 5 folding maps and several full-page charts in the text, neat signature on front paste-down, small label scar on front free endpaper; navy cloth, gilt back, boards a little age-marked, case lightly shaken else a good, bright, clean copy. This copy was formerly in the library of Northern Command and bears its cancelled stamp on title [only]. Based on original German documents, this is the first detailed account. It includes valuable evidence of German police preparations, including Himmler's plans for SS centres in many major cities. Enser, p.306.
