Deals with famous Russian botanists such as Regel, Fedchenko, Komarov, and others from Peter Simon Pallas to Isaienko. Botanical bookplate of Frans Stafleu on the front pastedown. Inscribed on the front free endpaper recto: "Leningrad / 1 oct. 1966 / van Fedorov", most probably in Stafleu's handwriting. Otherwise a very good (near mint) copy.
