8vo., First Edition, Second Impression, with coloured endpaper maps; black boards, bungundy cloth back gilt, purple silk marker, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper. Bright copy of the true UK first edition. The book was prepared by H&S with number line 1. No-one seems certain how many, but around 1200 copies were printed before the author objected to the dustwrapper design, as a result of which these copies were made available only at airports and overseas. Thus the 'first UK edition' (ie. the first sold in the UK) is technically the second impression with number line 2 as here.
