Description
No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A clean very tight copy with slightly rubbed unmarked boards, tanned page edges and end papers and small bump to lower front corner. 256pp. An account by Richard Crossman, then a new back bench MP who was selected in 1945 to be a member of the Anglo-American Committee on Palestine and the position of the Jewish victims of Nazi persecution. He tells of his time in Palestine and the region and the outcome of the Committee's Report in relation to the politics of the time.
