Un volume (21 cm) di (4)-191-(1) pagine. In lingua francese. Mezza pelle con dorso liscio e titolo dorato; la carta marmorizzata ai piatti è stata rimessa. Interno molto buono. Notevole la personalità del Du Pradt, arcivescovo di Malines, realista, poi al servizio di Napoleone, amico di Talleyrand, resaturatore, poi liberale. Puis il se jeta dans l'opposition libérale, et, pour occuper ses loisirs, composa un certain nombre d'écrits sur tous les sujets, remarquables par une rare fécondité d'idées, un style brillant et imagé et des rapprochements parfois intéressants. Traduit devant la cour d'assises du département de la Seine (1820) pour une brochure hardie, fut acquitté.
