8vo., First Edition thus, with frontispiece, title-vignette, numerous photographs in heliogravure (the majority full-page) in the text and double-page coloured map; faux-morocco boards, upper board lettered in gilt, brown cloth back lettered in gilt, covers mildly age-soiled, corners lightly bruised else a very good, bright, clean copy. With publisher's advertisement leaf at rear. Sold from the Scottish Royal Geographical Society with its bookplate and stamps on endpapers and title. Published a year after the French edition.
