Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased. 250pp. Captain Orams tells the story of his time at sea, from surviving the Thetis, taking a four-masted Barque down the Thames and around Cape Horn, a gunner in a battleship, in a destroyer at Jutland, First Lieutenant in a large submarine - all in World War I. He continued in the Royal Navy until 1945. Illustrated.
