Toulouse, Lagarde et Sebille, 1890. 8vo. 330 pp., 160 text figures. Original printed wrappers. = The seldom-seen author's morphological-taxonomical thesis. Provenance: handwritten, signed dedication by the author to Lacaze-Duthiers in the top margin of the title page. Fernand Lahille (1861-1940) was a French-Argentinian oceanographer. He moved to Argentina a few years after writing this thesis. Uncut. A rather foxed copy due to the quality of the paper. The wrappers, however, in an unusually good state.
