Un volume (9x17 cm) di (30)-449-(23) pagine. Buoni margini. Legatura coeva in tutta pelle, dorso a nervi ornato e dorato con tassello di titolo. Condizioni molto buone. Prima e unica edizione di questa risposta polemica di Larrey allo scritto Avis important aux réfugiez sur leur prochain retour en France, attribuito a Pierre Bayle. Exilé aux Pays-Bas, Isaac de Larrey (1639-1719) s'appuya sur sa grande facilité d'écriture pour gagner sa vie, avant d'être nommé historiographe des Etats Généraux des Provinces-Unies, puis d'être appelé à Berlin par l'Electeur de Brandebourg.
