Description
Paris, Ernest Leroux, 1887. Large 8vo (25.2 x 16.5 cm). 529 pp. 79 text engravings, four plates (one being a double-sized, folded coloured map). Original printed wrappers. = The complete volume six. Contains several anthropological and ethnographical contributions, e.g. by Max Leclerc, "Les peuplades de Madagascar", and by Alphonse Pinart, "Les indiens de l'État de Panama", etc., etc. Some of the text figures are quite large and impressive. Wrappers a bit soiled, top edge of spine cover chipped, last gatherings starting. Internally a good, clean copy.
