First edition of Boccaccio's poems. While far better known for his Decameron and other prose works, this Florentine author produced a small but important poetic oeuvre. Particularly notable is his summary, in terza rima, of Dante's Divine Comedy. Beautifully printed with Bodoni's types. 8vo. Attractively bound in contemporary quarter calf and decorated boards.
