(mm. 161x 100), 4 volumi (primi 3 in brossura editoriale, il 4° in cartonato coevo, mm. 144x85), pp. (8),280; 315; 327; 253, con il ritratto di Lamartine incise in rame al frontespizio del 1° volume e 2 carte geografiche, pure incise in rame e più volte ripieg., nel 4°volume. Con una breve introduzione ai lettori italiani di Cesare Cantù. Qualche lieve fioriture intercalate nel testo, altrimenti esemplare ben conservato.
