SAGGIO INTORNO AL LUOGO DEL SEPPELLIRE. In- 8°, br. cop. muta. 1 f. bianco, vii, 87 pp. Melzi, Opere anonime, III, p. 13, cita altre edizioni. Opera rara e curiosa. Questo testo apparso anonimo, ma opera del modenese Scipione Piattoli, ebbe molta fortuna a partire dalla data della sua prima pubblicazione nel 1772. Il volume tratta della questione dei cimiteri posti fuori dell'abitato frutto d'una riforma settecentesca di portata europea, che incontrò forti opposizioni perchè lesiva di pratiche religiose radicate nel vivere sociale; giunse infatti a compiuta realizzazione soltanto nel secolo seguente.
