Liége, published by the editor, 1860. 8vo-sized (23.7 x 15.5 cm). = A fine illustration of the round-leaved Sarcanthus, drawn and engraved in stone by the famous botanical engraver Georges Severeijns, or Severeyns, after a drawing by his brother Louis. With the original descriptive text added. Depicted together with an amaryllis, A. (Lycoris) radiata L'Herit. Slight age-toning, tiny perforation on right side, otherwise very good, clean.
