Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or rubbed with creasing to lower rear spine corner and front dust flap. 265pp. Biography of one of the founding personalities of Siemens as an engineering company, Sir William Siemens was born in Germany and emigrated to England where he led the Siemens business in addtion to his activities as an independant engineer and entrepreneur. He worked on global telegraphy, metallurgical innovations, energy saving and the protection of the environment. Scarce in the UK.
