4to., First Edition, with a coloured frontispiece, 3coloured plates, 52 plates in monochrome (each depicting many figures) and a full-page diagram in the text; grey cloth, gilt back, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter wanting lower half of backstrip and rear panel. A fine copy of Hall's separately printed 16pp Supplement, wire-stitched as issued, is loosely inserted.
