A very clean very tight copy with unmarked boards and no bumping but a little rubbing to leather corners. Top edge gilt, other page edges slightly dusty. Clear gilt lettering to leather spine with five raised ribs. Attractive bright marbled end papers. With attached red silk bookmark ribbon. Contains eight maps at rear including one linen-mounted large fold out map, all in excellent condition. Maps plus 288pp. This work is from Norway around the end of the 13th century and tells the tale of the Norwegian King Sverri. Possibly a unique copy in leather bound format.
