AN OUTSTANDING UNIQUE PHOTO ALBUM, WITH 25 LARGE (22.5 x 28.5) MOUNTED ORIGINAL SILVER PRINTS DEPICTING SYON HOUSE AND ITS OUTBUILDINGS (both exteriors and interiors), AND SYON GARDENS. Each of the photographs is titled in French in a very neat, calligraphic hand. Syon House is the last great London estate, and this album captures it exactly as it was a century ago. Oblong folio (33 x 42 cm). Elegantly bound in contemporary full calf, Spines gilt in five compartments, covers decorated in gilt. Minor traces of wear to extremities of binding, else FINE AND BRIGHT. Unique and important.
