Extensively illustrated from numerous sources, many of which being actors in theatrical character in photographs or engravings. 4to, bound for the publisher by W. Rouch in three-quarter crushed tan morocco over marbled paper covered boards, the spine with raised bands ruled in gilt and blind, central gilt devices in five compartments and gilt lettering in a sixth, marbled endpapers, t.e.g. xv, 509pp. A very fine copy, essentially as mint.
