pencil date (1923) to front end paper. Foxing to some pages and page edges. No other marks or inscriptions and no creasing to covers. A clean copy with unmarked boards and some bumping to corners. Slightly loosened hinges. 232pp. Coloured illustrations. Undated but thought to be the 1922 edition. First story 'The Great Age of Mammals' and cover illustration of pirate examining treasure chest.
