No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked beautifully patterned boards, slight foxing to spine and margin textile fabric and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked with small hole in sunned spine, light foxing to front and nicks/chips to top of spine. 446pp. All the surviving poems of the Tudor poet John Skelton, tutor to King Henry VIII when he was a prince and later 'Oratour' to his court. The spelling has been modernised with explanatory footnotes, a glossary, bibliography and an introduction.
