Description
Appears unread. No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. 36pp. The story of the small British force which it was hoped would create a new supply route to the British Expeditionary Force which was retreating westwards. However the German forces being so much stronger, the British troops really only created a a diversion from the main retreat by keeping the Germans at Calais. The brave men who were in Calais fought to the end and were defeated.
