London, The Zoological Society of London, 1912. 4to (32.9 x 24.9 cm). 71 pp.; five plates (of which two in colour). Original blind wrappers. = A detailed study of the morphology, anatomy and histology of this usually nine-armed species of starfish from the cooler parts of the northeast Atlantic. Linnaeus, not Forbes, is the author. Apparently there is also a plain edition, but this copy has two plates coloured. A very good, unmarked copy.
