In slip-case with slight bumping to some corners. 363pp. Text in Japanese. This study began from the question 'Are old people isolated from their families?'. Following an intensive interviewing stage, the data was collated and discussed against the social problems of old age. From the Personal Library of the late Emeritus Professor Peter Townsend of Bristol University and the London School of Economics, Founding Professor of the University of Essex and founder of the Child Poverty Action Group.
