Five volumes. Tiny name stamp inside front board of each volume. No other marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spines. Five clean very tight copies with bright unmarked maroon buckram boards, dusty partly untrimmed edges, minor rubbing to spine ends, tanned end papers, very clear gilt lettering to spines and no bumping to corners. All bindings very sound. Total of 3342pp. Volume.5 edited. by Lady Trevelyan, Macaulay's sister. Seventeenth century English history. A very good set. A heavy set.
