London, British Ornithological Union, 1919. 8vo. xxxvi, 826 pp.; 19 plates (twelve coloured). Original red embossed cloth with gilt title on the spine, and gilt vignette on the front board. Top edge gilt. = A volume from one of the longest running and most influential ornithological magazines. Especially the earlier years, with fine plates by Keulemans, Grönvold and others, are very uncommon and sought-after. Very good condition, with very slight wear to top and bottom edge of the spine.
