London, British Ornithological Union, 1930. 8vo. xlviii, 776 pp.; 25 plates (three coloured). Original red embossed cloth with gilt title on the spine, and gilt vignette on the front board. Top edge gilt. = A volume from one of the longest running and most influential ornithological magazines. Especially the earlier years, with fine plates by Keulemans, Grönvold and others, are very uncommon and sought-after. Spine slightly sunned, as usual and slightly worn at top and bottom. Repaired tear along the spine.
