The scars he received as a POW were never completely to leave him; the horrors that he had seen and endured haunted him both mentally and physically throughout his life." - from dust jacket. Author passed away in 1984, truly one of the Invisibly Wounded survivors of the war. Light wear to book and dust jacket which is now in an archival-grade Brodart cover.
