A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, foxing to page edges, very minor rubbing to ends of slightly sunned spine and no bumping to corners. 207pp. Fictional account based on the imprisonment and attempted escape of King Charles the First from Carisbrook Castle. Undated but prize plate dated 1909.
