The original 1983 First Edition. Previous owner's name to front end paper. No other marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, tanning to pages, signs of storage and no bumping to corners. 278pp. The history of the Pedi, less well known but of similar imprtance to the Zulus according Transvaal Africans, who were also bludgeoned into submission by the British in the 1870s.
