Description
Name (J. Godfrey Hatfeild) to title page. No other marks or inscriptions. Light creasing to decorated covers and spine. Clean tight lightly tanned pages with very clear text and with small piece rubbed off the front. Corners and edges well-scuffed and with very dusty page edges. 364pp. Anthony Trollope's first published novel. This 'yellowback' edition was the equivalent of our paperbacks and many did not survive. This novel is very scarce in 'yellowback' form.
