Original embossed cloth with gilt vignette on the front board. = A rarely seen monograph, published as Memoirs of the Geological Survey of Great Britain and the Museum of Economic Geology in London, forming the complete volume II, Part. I. Well-illustrated and including the descriptions of many new or poorly known Silurian trilobites, gastropods, bivalves, and a few minor groups. Uncut. Boards detached; spine cover perished. Cancelled stamp on title page blank verso, otherwise (i.e., internally) a very good, clean copy.
