No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked red cloth boards, tiny bump to top of spine and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn with faint crease and minor traces of storage to front. 211pp. Originally published in 1910, this account of some of the hidden architectural splendour of England, sometimes in sequestered villages and obscure hamlets includes suoerb detailed sketches of magnificant houses and their chimneys, porches, doors, roofs, staircases, panelling and windows.
