Berkeley, CA, University of California Press., 1921. Large 8vo (27.0 x 18.1 cm). 470 pp., 165 text illustrations, 50 plates with explanatory text leaves. Original printed wrappers. = A large, detailed, and well-illustrated account on - mainly - eastern Pacific crabs. A few plates show shrimps, or distribution maps. The first "plate" is in fact a large, double-folded map. This is the original 1921 edition, not the 1972 Lochum reprint. Uncut. Binding rather weak. Wrappers worn at edges, title page a bit less so and otherwise a very good, clean and unmarked copy.
