8vo., First Edition, with 8 maps in the text and large folding map at end, some light offsetting from fold-ins to free endpapers, contemporary signature on front free endpaper; blue cloth, backstrip lettered in gilt and white, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper. Considerably revised and updated version of the author's wartime narrative, published in 1945.
