First edition. 8vo, Very handsomely bound in full navy-blue morocco gilt by Ramage of London, the spine with raised bands separating compartments decorated with multi gilt tooled fleurs-de-lys and gilt stops, two compartments lettered in gilt, gilt edges and fine gilt turnovers to the binding, marbled end-leaves, all edges gilt. xxxv, 492 pp. An excellent copy, in very fine condition and as pristine.
