First edition, EARLY PROOF COPY, 4to (229 x 180 mm), 8pp., later stiff wrappers. This appears to be an early uncorrected proof with a different type setting, here the text is concised to 8 pages (final edition 12 pages)and title page spellings uncorrected. The final published edition, also issued in 1769, has the spelling of the authors name corrected and the word ìOutfallî has been changed to ìOutfalî. This proof is without the map folding map which was issued with the final edition.
