8vo., First Edition, with frontispiece, coloured and monochrome plates, numerous illustrations in the text and pictorial endpapers; original series binding of tan faux-morocco, upper board blocked and lettered in gilt and black, gilt back, radial corners, red sprinkled edges, a near fine copy in dustwrapper, the latter lightly rubbed at extremities.
