A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked red cloth boards, dusty page edges, tanned end papers and no bumping to corners. 216pp. Six essays associated with war and culture, ideals, habits, character and history - on France, Russia, Belgium, the Serb, Japan and the British Empir plus an Appendix on France in war time. Extremely scarce first edition of 1915.
