A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, slight rubbing to spine edges, tanning to page edges and minor bumping to upper corners. 240pp. The story of the Savoy Theatre, the D'Oyly Carte productions and Gilbert & Sullivan. Very well illustrated with portrait photographs of Richard D'Oyly Carte, Gilbert & Sullivan etc and full page photographs of many of the actors from the Savoy productions.
